So I’m now 38 weeks along! I did it, I made it! I have another Dr appt tomorrow… It’s getting so close! So my sister recently started a new photography business here in Utah so when she asked if she could do some maternity pictures I said sure! I’ve never done them before and since this is most likely our last one it’s also my last chance to do this!
Yes that is ALL me, no I’m not having twins and no it’s not the biggest I’ve ever gotten!
The kiddo’s are ALL pretty excited about the baby, but they weren’t all very excited about this photo-shoot. SO we didn’t get very many pictures with them!
The name shot! These are actually all the close family men’s names, not necessarily names we’re actually considering. In fact a few of our grandfathers have threatened us many MANY times if we actually use some of these names… Other’s we used for middle names and others we’ve already crossed off. BUT since we always name our kids after family they were all at one point on our basic list. And let’s face it, the picture looks better with more names than just one or two!
My sister actually climbed up on top of a trellis to get this top shot, now that’s dedication! I love these shoes, but from high up like this I’m not sure they look quite as cute! But I LOVE how my eyes look (the new hair color isn’t too bad either)

My CURRENT baby getting excited for her “replacement”. She actually has NO idea what’s going to happen next… She LOVED taking this picture. She went a bit crazy and spent about 3 mins kissing (and climbing) on my belly!
The only picture that really WORKED with my husband. He’s not known for being the most photogenic person ever. In fact he’s known for the guy who keeps his eye’s closed in 90% of the pictures. But that HAIR?!?!?! I love his hair and so far none of my kids have it! This little guy is my last hope for a curly haired toddler.
And the last one… A non makeup day, I wasn’t really planning on my face being in any of the pictures, but this is real life, and what I actually look like every day! (should have at least put on some mascara…). Anyway, there are a ton more! My sis did a great job and I’m SO glad I’ll have these to look back on! (you should see my kankles these days! It’s like my calf to my wide feet are all the same width!)

You look fantastic and the photos are great!! I loved my maternity shoot with my first one and now that Baby #2 is on the way, I can’t wait for this shot. I’m going to use some of these as ideas for poses…I love that one from the trellis!
I’ve never done one before, but now wish I had better pictures of the other pregnancies to compare!

Thanks so much Kristy! Funny thing was we couldn’t find a ribbon long enough! So we ended up cutting the ribbon in half and adding elastic to the center of the ribbon!
