The party I threw last week for my cousin turned out GREAT!!!! I’m crazy busy this week working on The DA’s party this Friday. I’m PLANNING on sharing the shower this week, but it all depends on how on top of things I stay with the birthday party. The crazy thing is I LOVE being so busy! I’m crazy busy every weekend for the foreseeable future. Here it is: SNAP next week (I get to make a cake center piece for it!), then a wedding cake, then Breathing Space, then my nieces birthday party (no cake, just helping), then my SIL’s 40th birthday (love you Kathy!), then The Readers birthday then the last day of school!!!! HOLY COW!!! I can’t believe school is almost out for the year, I guess having a baby at the BEGINNING of a school year instead of the end really makes the year go fast!
Last week I shared my totally fun Lego Star Wars Anakin cake! I LOVED how it turned out! Also I shared a little bit about my children and autism for autism awareness month. My friend Elizabeth from Sew Chatty is hosting a fundraiser to earn money to get my children an Ipad for Autism awareness month. I’m so grateful and humbled! And finally I on the council for the newest blogging retreat here in Salt Lake, Breathing Space, and we’re giving away a registration to run in the Color Me Rad 5k!
I have parties on the brain these days, and I love this adorable ladybug picnic party! I love the potato salad in mason jars, and the mini food! Those watermelon cookies are super cute too!
I love pysanky eggs! I featured a tutorial last year, and I can’t help but feature this one as well! They make it look so easy! I need a set of these kystka to try it out next year!
These tinted bottles are lovely, and you could take this tutorial and us it for any season or holiday! LOVELY! AND I love the addition of the pinwheels too.
The party I threw last week was all about airplanes and clouds were a huge part of the decor! I have been falling in love with clouds as a shape as I was working on the party! I LOVE this cloud shapped pillow, seriously so cute!
two sunglasses cases were linked up this week, how crazy is that? Sew and the City and Flamingo Toes. SO cute!
I LOVE Indian food, probably my favorite type of food ever! And I love making indian food from scratch, my favorite is Vindaloo, but Tikka Masala is also amazing! I can’t wait to try this recipe!
I love muddy buddies, and I love coconut, so this coconut chex mix using white chocolate and coconut sounds pretty darn good, huh? And the pretty spring colors are lovely!

Hi, thank you so much for featuring my sunglasses cases. I was just scrolling through the party when I saw Beverly’s case and thought it was so funny that two cases are linked up. Her tutorial is great and I might have to steal a couple of her tips.
