Topsy Turvy Tuesdays

We had another really fun week over here! Ever since I upgraded to Windows 7 half the stuff on my computer has been working better, and some parts haven’t been working AT ALL! my video editing is in the middle. I can edit but it won’t play while I’m trying to edit it, so blind editing. BUT I did finally get out another video for the How to Cake Decorating series I started back in the fall, How to cover a cake with fondant part 1 (not actually getting to the cake part yet….).

Are you nursing, or will be soon, or know someone who is???? I did a review for the coolest nursing top ever, Undercover Mama, AND they are giving one away to my readers so hop on over and enter! I made a pretty fun cake for our St. Patrick’s day celebrations, a Pot of Gold cake and a NEW leprechaun hat for Baby Boy! And finally yesterday I shared one of my favorite breads, Rosemary bread- if you like Marconi Grills bread you’ll LOVE this one!

Remember I’m starting to feature linked up projects on my Facebook page as well so don’t forget to follow me there so you can see what else I like and think you will too!

yarn-mobile-tutorial

I LOVE this yarn ball mobile!!! It’s lovely, and Crafty Kate shares a really easy tutorial! If only I was on my first baby and still had a nursery! But I’m on my 5th, and I haven’t even bothered setting up the crib or changing table, but I do love these yarn balls and might have to make a set for something else, a party maybe? or gift?

lucky-layers-tiered-dress-in-size-2t

Okay this layered sun dress is GORGEOUS! I love the overlapping cross over top! Last week I also featured a top that had a cross over too- I guess I know what I need to be making for The Destroying Angel this summer!

framed-bathroom-mirrors

I’ve seen a lot of framed bathroom mirrors over the last year an I think this tutorial did a great job showing you how to do it yourself with your miter saw!!

glitter-easter-eggs

It’s CRAZY!!! Spring is here (today) and now there are EASTER tutorials all over the place! I love these glitter eggs! A very clear and easy tutorial, and one that your kids could have a blast doing with you as well!

homemade-white-bread

As I said on my rosemary bread post I’m a carb lover, this white bread recipe looks AMAZING! And while I like my current recipe I love searching for new ones! I’m so going to try this bread this week.

Pita-bread-feta-cheese-filling

Feta is one of my favorite cheeses and I love filled breads so this pita bread with feta cheese filling is going on my to make list!!! It is in German so make sure you translate the recipe over! Mmmmm

chocolate-mint-brownies-recipe

Chocolate and mint… Right up there there with Chocolate and Peanut butter, add to that my love of brownies and frosting??? I can’t wait to make these chocolate mint brownies! I will say I’ll substitute peppermint for mint, just a personal preference!
