I didn’t post a single post this week. Silly thing is I actually HAD 5 posts written into my calendar FOR this week, the projects are done, the pictures are edited… BUT I just didn’t sit down and write the post. If I had made some headway on our master bedroom then I would at least have a great excuse… But that didn’t happen either.
In fact this is what happened: we had a great second week of school, we had at least ONE appointment every day (Dr, GNO, Neighborhood ice cream party, planning meeting for a new project, play-date, splash-pad, etc…), a full labor day weekend with family AND I read 6 books… The Hunger Game Series, and the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series (putting off working on the Master bedroom!).
Okay this birthday outfit made from a man’s shirt could not be cuter! Adorable! I love the pendants across, and the sweet hat!
I am LOVING this homemade toy box! I also love this stencil, I’ve been seriously considering using it for our master bedroom, but don’t think I have the time. So so SO cute!
One Charming party is one of my favorite party sites, and I happen to know and adore the gals who run it. SO cute! This is our treat of the week. This back to school cake could NOT be any cuter… I might just have to make an edible version of it next year!
So there you have it, some of the features from last week. Don’t forget to take a button if you were featured.

And don’t forget to grab a button for you blog somewhere. Yet another week of no music! It’s been 4 weeks now with no musical blogs, best news ever. Yippee!

thanks for linking up every week!
I agree. thanks for hosting!
thanks so much for coming and linking up!
Thanks for the feature and hosting a great party. I’m glad you took the week off. I’m totally jealous you were able to read 6 books. Sounds like you had a great week.
8 now… I guess I’m on a book kick these days. I go in spurts. Last Aug (2010) I ready 48 books in one month… I also was living in a cabin with not TV, internet, or phone service… Just the kids and I and library books. It was great!
Thanks so much for the feature Ashlee! I grabbed your button for my blog
The stencil would look beautiful in your bedroom, but don’t do it! It would take you forever. No really, forever. A premade, tape it to the wall and paint over it stencil would be beautiful too and you would want to quit halfway through tracing. Good Luck!
I could tell! I wish there was a way to make this a a stencil, but it would be too week. I’m looking at the simpler version of the quatrafoil instead of the doubled one you did here.
Hi there! I absolutely love that pencil cake that you posted. I wish I was clever enough to think of something like that.
Thanks for hosting!
Isn’t it brilliant! My Charming Party ALWAYS comes up with amazing, inspired decor! LOVE her site!
Really? That birthday outfit is made from man’s shirt? I can’t imagine that because it doesn’t look like one. By the way I am so impressed about the back to school cake that is made out of pencils.
seriously so cute, huh? Love it, I think I need to start shopping in the men’s section more often!
