I am SO excited I FINALLY crossed off another goal of mine and wrote a weekly schedule for myself for the blog. From now one I’ll be posting this (note this does NOT mean I’ll be posting every day, just WHEN I post this will be the schedule). I also re-wrote my about me page.
Monday’s- Recipes: meals, treats, breads, etc…
Tuesday’s- I’m Topsy Turvy weekly link party and features
Wednesday’s- Cakes: Cake pictures, tutorials, vlogs and contests
Thursday’s- Crafts: DIY, tutorials, decor, how-to’s
Friday’s- Misc: Friday Flashbacks, My Favorite things, Review’s, Giveaway’s and Events
Sunday’s- Personal: “Thing’s Kids Say”, Aspergers, family and anything else I come up with
This schedule has totally helped me, I’m so mad at myself I didn’t just get it done months ago. I got more posted this week as well as quite a few pre-posted ready for you guys. First I posted my latest cake, I used my silhouette machine to create this “I love to see the Temple” cake.
Then for Flashback Friday I posted my Dr. Seuss birthday party invitations, with more directions, pictures, and instructions for how I made them. They have been my most popular invitations so far. Sunday I posted about our Camping family reunion weekend and Monday I shared my recipes for our favorite breakfast, German Pancakes. We make this weekly, and I share my tips on how to get it thick, the way I like it, rather than thin!
And come back Friday for a BIG announcement about a new exciting project I’m a part of
I’ve featured some paper quilling before, but nothing like this. OH MY GOSH! This is a 36×24 paper quill (or is it quilling) of Van Gogh’s starry night! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! There are lots of mediums I like to work with, lots of different crafts I like to try. Paper Quilling is something I admire, am totally impressed by, but don’t have ANY desire to do. The work and time that goes into something like this. Just incredible.
This is a lovely fabric lampshade makeover by sweet rose studio. She shoes a complete tutorial of how she created her lampshade, it’s easy, and looks amazing!
Treat of the week again! This one is PERFECT for summer. Toasted Marshmallow milkshake! Mmmmm, marshmallows. I can not WAIT to try this! I think I’ll add crushed graham crackers to the top, maybe some chocolate drizzled in the glass???
So there you have it, some of the features from last week. Don’t forget to take a button if you were featured.

Don’t forget to grab a button for you blog somewhere. AND we had another no musical blogs linked up week! Yippee!

Thank you so much for featuring me as your “Treat of the Week”. It seriously made my entire day!
Thanks for coming in and linking up! I seriously have it on my calendar to try the marshmallow milkshake in the next 2 weeks!
Thank you so much for featuring my lampshade! You are too sweet! By the way, you are my hero for having a blog schedule. I’m just still not so good at that.
Thanks for linking up! I think the lampshade turned out great! I don’t even own a single lamp! Crazy huh? They are so cute these days too, all the remodels people are creating left and right! Yours is just adorable.
Wow! Thanks so much for the feature and the kind words about my quilled Starry Night! I am thrilled to be included on your site!!
