Well I did NOT get past the last week of So You Think Your Crafty… I’m majorly bummed out, but while I loved my own stuff we can’t control what others like, so it’s bye bye to me! And now I have more time for my other projects! My husband is glad to have my Friday nights (the night the posts were due) back, maybe we’ll even go on a date this week!
Last week I actually spent most of my time working on my new blog layout (like it- suggestions?), and updating my shop! I did post my tutorial for making your own princess cake here and one of the best things ever??? I got featured this week over at Today’s Creative Blog! What a totally fun week for me!
I’m working on a new big project and looking for guest posters (one per week) if your interested email me!

I have been in love with all the Wreaths in the last year, I haven’t gotten around to making any recently though. This wooden 3D valentines wreath from Oopsey Daisy is SOOO going on my list. Just look at it’s lovelyness. In addition to looking amazing she also has a great tutorial on exactally how she made it so we can all make our own!

Okay, this stitched hoop art is amazing. She did not use a cricut, or silhouette, she hand cut the pieces and used her sewing machine to stitch all the fabric and writing on. AND she shows us exactly how with a great tutorial! Who could ask for anything more?
Can you believe this is a faux inlay table? She used a knitting needle for the detail, paint and then polyurethane. She gives complete details, including what kind of wood she used! This has endless possibilities!
So there you have it, some of the features from last week. Don’t forget to take a button if you were featured.

And don’t forget to grab a button for you blog somewhere (or adding a text link is just fine!).

Thank you so much for the feature Ashlee! You’re the best!
I’m so bummed you are out of the competition – I loved your accessory group – there were so many great projects there! I can’t wait to see tutorials!
How could I not!!! It’s lovely. Instead of taking off you foot have you ever tried using a darning foot? For quilting and AKA free quilting foot?
Thanks for hosting again this week. I’m sorry you’re out of the competition.
it’s okay… more time for my new project!
Hello Ashlee… how are you its so nice to participate in your party
Happy Valentine’s Day … hope you spare a little bit of your valuable time for me …

Oh I’m sorry you didn’t make it any further! Man that competition is a lot of work, isn’t it? 10 total weeks, right? Whew. I don’t know how you did it as far as you did.
It was a ton of work! But fun… Talk about work! Your contest has been a TON of work!

Just wondering when that cute candyland tutorial will be up?
