So it’s been CRAZY cold here in Utah, in the negative digits for about 3 weeks, and then yesterday FREEZING rain! Seriously cool to look at, not so cool to drive in. It took me 40 mins to get my kids to school (normally a 20 min drive) and then 60 mins to get home! Then the school called me (one was sick) and I had to make the trip all over again!


So it’s completely fitting that we had this kindle FIRE giveaway scheduled for today (fire is warm, get it???). We all got together to bring you this awesome giveaway!

  3. My favorite thing to help me through the winter is to spend time with my kids. They are 12 and 14 and very interesting to talk with, joke with, and I love watching their sports events!

    I love the fireplace in our new home. And getting to take the kids out to play in the snow makes the cold weather worth it.

    Lots of sewing, making soups, a good fire going in the fireplace, warm cozy sweaters and scarves :) :)

    Bundle up and keep moving during the day. Cook up lots of crockpot soups. Cuddle under a homemade quilt on the couch in the evening.
