I love it when I get a chance to go to the grocery store by myself, as in with no kids in tow. Along with not taking my kids I like to go purse free as often as possible. I’ve been known to go through the entire shopping trip, make it to the checkout line only to realize I LEFT MY WALLET IN THE CAR! Grrr. So frustrating.

SOMETIMES I just take my JUST my favorite credit card out of my wallet and stick it in my back pocket to shop. BUT then I’ll forget that my card is in the pocket of my jeans and the next day (or few days later) when I go to buy something else my favorite credit card is missing and I have to use my non-favorite card (ie no cash back)!

So what’s a gal to do? Shove her HUGE wallet in the back of her already unattractive mom jeans? See above, my visual aid is telling, huh NO one want’s THAT look. BUT with my CC’s in my phone???? phones are so small they BARELY register in my back pocket… ALSO my phone is usually in my hands (my grocery list app).

When AT&T asked if I would review the new ISIS mobile wallet? I couldn’t say yes fast enough! Here’s the details: Isis is currently available in Salt Lake City, Utah and Austin, Texas using NFC enabled devices with select cell phone providers, like AT&T. NFC stands for “near field communication”. It’s basically a little chip inside some cell phones, like the Samsung Galaxy III. The NFC chip is what allows you to “tap and pay”.

Want some FREE MONEY??? When you download the Isis app you automatically get $10 cash card loaded on your device (after setting up an account and a pin). AND when you choose to make your card “reloadable” you get an extra $15 loaded. That’s a FREE $25. The Isis mobile wallet can also store your credit cards and you can use them anywhere Isis is accepted with the tap of your phone.

  1. Do you know if there’s a central way to check if my phone/provider will work? I’m fairly certain it doesn’t, but it’d be cool…
