Remember last week when I invited your readers to come to my house for a Craft and Tell party with Elmers? Well I threw it last Friday and we had SUCH a fun time. Friday is not the best night to throw a party, I know, but it was the night my husband could easily watch the kiddo’s so I could have fun. We ended up with three last min cancellations so it we had a small group. But actually the small group was nice. We could all fit at one table and craft, talk and eat together. We all had a GREAT time!
Here is most of our group: Jenn, Amy, Melissa (who I got almost all of these picture from since I totally forgot to TAKE pictures once we started!), me and Sarah (Leanne TOOK this picture, but if you scroll down you can see the same picture with her in it!)
Here is the table when we first started! CRAZY amounts of AMAZING craft supplies from Elmers! Fabric glue, Tacky Glue, glue spots, picture corners, tape runners, retractable blades, AMAZING (and pretty pink) thick cutting mats, paint markers, gel pens, etc…. Just incredible the amount of supplies!
We all got to work! We each brought our own projects to make. Paper, fabric, yarn, glitter, wooden boards, letters, folders, etc…
I spent the day making my favorite treats. Oreo balls, Cheese Ball, Chili Con Queso, Homemade salsa, Creamy Jalapeno Dip, Lemon Sour Cream Pie and Truffles I won from Utah Truffles!
Amy decorted lettering with paper, ribbons, etc… and then she created some file folders, Melissa HAND cut this letter F, as well as a gorgeous paper flourish. Don’t forget to check out Leanne’s amazing July Wreath!
I started with some heels I’ve owned for a few years now. I LOVE these shoes, the bows on the side… Just lovely, but I don’t wear them very often because of the color. I decided these shoes needed some… bling! So using the fabric paint I glittered my shoes up! I also took my favorite pair of suede heels along with a suede skirt I bought at the thrift store and created flowers and bows to adorn them with. I’m just waiting for some shoe clips to finish them up. I’ll show them to you soon!
And the group again, this time with Leanne! Jenn, Amy, Leanne, me and Sarah (with Melissa taking the picture this time!)
Everyone went home with finished and half finished crafts, as well as a ton of new supplies! The party was a HIT, and we stayed up WAY late gabbing and talking. I’m thinking I need to start a quarterly craft night. Let me know if your interested! It was too much fun not to repeat it again and again and again!
For those of you who couldn’t make it Elmer’s is adding to their amazing generosity! I have TWO gift prize packs to give away (you must be a US resident, sorry!)

I love their x-acto knife!
Hey lady, sorry I missed this! I like to use the elmers white glue because it works for basically anything
I love Elmer’s glue, and their gel pens! If I won one of the giveaway packs, I’d be able to do the craft I wanted to do!
I’m so sad I missed out! I’d definitely be interested in other craft parties in the future!
Looks like a fun night! I can’t wait to see your new shoes.
A quarterly craft night sounds so fun! I don’t live too far away from you too hint hint
I would love to make something with those bi fold foam board packs.
living down South may have its advantages in the Winter – but I want to come to a craft night and the commute just makes that… well… ugly.
Elmer’s is awesome though – I usually stock up on their glue at back 2 school time so that I can decoupage to my heart’s content throughout the year
I was so bummed I had to miss your craft night! It looks like you had so much fun. I’m kinda boring I guess, but I use the glue sticks the most. Probably because my kids are always using them too.
I must say that the glue sticks are my favorite for making my visuals for Sunday School class.
Thank you!
I love the X-ACTO knives. It looks like you had a great time, and I am amazed at your shoe transformation. Brilliant!
My favorite is the plain ole gluestick. They ALWAYS seem to come in handy.
I like the classic white glue. I am a school teacher and only request ELMERS when making supply request!!
The X-ACTO Retract-a-Blade knives is something that I would love to have. I also like the classic white glue, always good to have it around.
I love XACTO knives! <3 But, I could definitely make some use out of all that stuff, especially the circle cutter!
Don’t enter me in the giveaway, I just wanted to tell you those shoes turned out BHLDN beautiful. That says a lot.
I can’t wait to see how your shoe clips turn out!
I would love the Fabric or the Tacky Glue.
I’ve always got White Glue and Glue Sticks around.
Awesome party!!!
My favorite? The glue stick! I cannot for the life of me find a better brand glue stick! They work amazingly and are so easy to use! Simple, i know but we love them!
With a little girl we use lots of glue for our glitter projects. Super fun party, one of these nights I will take time off of work so I can come to something!
WOW – what a fun lot of product! Elmer’s glue sticks always win for me! Love them, better than ANY off brand!!
I love my exacto knife and self healing mat.
Glue sticks! Of my very own!
It’s amazing how kids can use a whole glue stick in one sitting!
Super cute baby belly you have!
The glue sticks are great! So quick and easy, that’s what I like. I’ve been looking at your blog for a while and love it. I may however be a little bit partial because we spell our name the same way, but oh well:) Keep up all the creative work.
Don’t enter me, I just wanted to tell you how much fun I had and was so excited to actually finish a project too. Your shoes turned out so cute. The picture I took of them didn’t. Thanks again for the party and we should really get together more often. I hope I see you tomorrow.
The craftbond glue sticks are my favorite!
LOOK at you! You look great! Thats a gorgeous preggo belly!
I love the glue dots…I use them for all sorts of things! And of course, having several different Xacto knives in my craft stash is a must!
Ummm, I love their plain old glue. I have found so many creative uses for just regular white glue!
i love elmers products. we mostly use there glue, my three year old love gluing thing, we love to do crafts together.
I like to use the cicle cutter.
I couldn’t live without my X-acto knife! Truly, the Elmer’s gluesticks are the best EVER – they’re the only kind that cover an entire surface without getting sticky hard-to-remove overflow on everything, AND they stay stuck down perfectly!
Circle cutter is my scrapbook best friend, i just love it, I always have to borrow it from my sister, or my friends because I love making projects out of it! I mean who doesn’t love a perfect circle?
I’ve used Elmer’s Glue since I was a child, and that was a long time ago. Now I’ve switched from the big bottles that I used to refill the smaller ones in my classes at school to glue sticks. Ingenious. Thanks for the chance to win this prize package.
What a wonderful giveaway! I’m a big fan of the Glue Dots… they’re the best!
I love Elmer’s glue sticks! They seem to last longer than other brands and they come in purple!
i literally have like 6 exacto knifes that i keep at home, at work, in the car etc. so handy…and i end up needing them all the time.
Considering all the small hands that seem to be everywhere in my house, despite my best efforts, I think I’d like to try the Retractable X-acto Knife.
I love Glue Dots–especially with kids!
You can never go wrong with good old Elmer’s Glue!
I love to use their glue sticks!
I am a teacher, so I use Elmer’s white glue and glue sticks all of the time.

Glue sticks are most used here but my favorite Elmers product has to be there exacto knife.
