Baby Boy’s 9 months old pictures!

Baby Boy has now been out longer than he was in!  9 months is always a big milestone for me with my babies!  It’s amazing how much changes in 9 months! (thanks again to my amazing sister, Chelsea Peterson Photography, for these great milestone pictures!)

The first 9 months they go from non-existent to a baby, and another 9 months they go from a helpless baby to a miniature person, complete with personality, preferences, etc..  They’ve gone from a blob to rolling, sitting, crawling, standing and walking!  AMAZING!

Yep- WALKING!  He started walking a few weeks ago (he’s actually 10 months old now, we took this pictures last month!) I have to say it’s pretty precious!  He’s into EVERYTHING, he loves my pots and pans cupboard and all the plastic grocery bags under the kitchen sink!

He is the happiest baby ever born I think!  He cried the other day and one of my friends said “I didn’t think he EVER cried, nice to know he’s not perfect!”  He’s been my partner at all GNO and blogging conferences this year, my date, or as someone recently said- he’s become our GNO mascot!

He  now has 4 teeth, and his hair is long enough (although blonde?)  to comb!  We just gave him a quick trim to even him out, but I’m not counting it as his first cut…  His memory is AMAZING!  When we visit someplace new he loves to crawl/walk around exploring to get the lay of the land!

He’s inquisitive and playful!  He loves to play peek a boo, shares toys, and spends his day following everyone around and making a break for the stairs or toilet when someone leaves the wrong door open!  He loves to eat cheese, cake, ice cream and sneak candy from the storage room, but isn’t a fan of bread… yet.

He loves to sing (loud screaming) and dance (lots of bouncing).  He’s also a fan of headbanging while singing, but hates heights, an really doesn’t like being thrown in the air.  And his favorite person is his Aunt Donna- favorite FAVORITE!

He’s also kind of sneaky!  The other day we were at the new DIY bloggers house and in the backyard they had an unlit fire pit with decorative broken glass in it. He went straight for it, of course, and I said NO and took it away.  Well he went right for it again (duh) but then he turned and gave me that LOOK!  If you have kids you know that look, the “what you going to do about it” look- but with a pretty cute smile!  Then he popped it in his mouth!  THAT BOY!

He’s still wearing 12 month pants, but is wearing 18 months shirts already!  Long long torso on this little guy (or should I say BIG boy!) He’s got the cutest outie belly button, that he loves to show off (when playing peek-a-boo with his shirt!).  He loves to chew on his fingers and toes and the other day knocked himself over lifting his feet up to his mouth!

He love to give kisses, open mouth usually, but he’s learning to pucker!  He’s a totally cuddle buddy, and is still an amazing nurser (although he’s a bitter too- OUCH).  Really he’s just a happy, funny, bright eyed, sweet little thing how has us ALL wrapped around his chubby fingers!

Words can not express how much I love my life: My precious baby boy is just the icing on the cake.  I have 5 wonderful, smart and sweet children and a supportive, hard working husband.  I’m not saying life is perfect, but I choose joy daily an I’m grateful !
